What is a Polly Group

A Polly Group is a group of pollys created by the user in the Zoom Desktop app outside of a meeting. Pollys within a Polly Group can be added to the queue during a meeting, regardless of whether or not the user is the meeting host, and published as needed.

To create a Polly Group

  1. Open your Zoom desktop client
  2. Navigate to the "Apps" tab in the top navigation
  3. Select "Polly"
  4. Open the menu on the left-hand side
  5. Select "+ Add polly group" under the "Polly Group" drop-down to create your first group.
  6. Name your group and press "Create Group"
  7. Click "+ Add a Polly" on the right-hand side of the window
  8. Add as many pollys as you like to that group.

To add a pre-drafted pollys from your Polly Groups to your meeting:

  1. Join your meeting
  2. Select the "Apps" tab at the bottom of the meeting window
  3. Click on "Polly"
  4. Click the "Groups" button to the side of the main create button to add any existing Polly Group to your meeting.
  5. Once you click inside the Polly Group you'd like to add, select all the pollys you'd like to add to the queue and publish as needed.
