Image Pollys

Creating an Image Polly

Slack:

• In any Slack channel or direct message, type /polly and send the command.

• The Polly creation menu will appear.

• Under Engage your audience, select Image Choice.

• You will be redirected to the Polly web dashboard to finish creating your image polly.

Web Dashboard:

• Navigate to the Polly web dashboard.

• Click Create.

• Select Image Choice as the question type.

• Enter your poll question.

• Add answer choices to your polly. For each choice, you can:

  • Upload an image from your device

• • Search for an image within Polly

• • Select a GIF using the built-in GIF search

Schedule and Send

Just like other pollys, you can send your image polly immediately or schedule it to be delivered later. Select your preferred audience in Slack, choose when you’d like the polly to be sent, and publish it when ready.

Presentation View

Image pollys can also be used during live presentations.

When shown in presentation mode, the poll displays:

• The polly question

• Image choices for participants to vote on

• A QR code for participants to join and respond in real time

This makes image pollys ideal for interactive meetings, team events, or workshops where visual voting can drive engagement.

Audience View

In the audience view, respondents will see:

• The polly question

• Image-based answer choices

Votes are submitted the same way as a standard polly, but with images displayed alongside the choices.

Results

Responses to image pollys are displayed in the Polly results dashboard, where each option appears with its corresponding image. This makes it easy to visually identify which option participants selected.
