GDPR at Polly

At Polly, we care deeply about your privacy and data security. To that end, we’ve taken the following steps to ensure we’re ready for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on Friday May 25th, 2018:

Updates to our policies

Privacy Policy

We have updated our policies to better explain how we use customer data

Cookie Policy

We have added a new Cookie Policy to better explain how and when we use cookies

Terms of Service

We've updated our TOS to support Explicit Consent and Opt-Out

Additional compliance measures

Data Protection Officer

We've appointed a dedicated Data Protection Officer (DPO) to handle a variety of issues in accordance with the GDPR requirements. Having a DPO ensures that Polly will continue to invest in our security infrastructure and to meet its compliance obligations.

Our DPO is:

Bilal Aijazi
DPO@polly.ai

Handling Data Subject Rights Requests

We've implemented some compliance measures to make it easy to handle requests such as deletion or update requests of your personal data. To do so, simply email privacy@polly.ai with your request.

Additional training & certifications

The team at Polly has been diligent in conducting more awareness and training with our team around data protection and incident response on potential issues like data breaches. Additionally, check out our security page for more information on how we secure your data: https://polly.ai/security

Third party audits

We have thoroughly audited all of the services that we use to ensure that they are either GDPR-compliant or don't gain access to personal data. For the third party services that do handle your personal data, we have been extra careful to only allow the critical information required to use the service.
