What does a license mean?

The Standard plan starts at $19/license, which means that a single license will unlock access for the license owner, and they will be able to take advantage of the features and functionality available to them.

Anyone else in your Teams tenant, if not on a subscription, will effectively be on the Free plan.

What is a response, and what do the limits mean?

The response limit is per user, per month. 

For users on the free plan, that means that each user can accumulate a total of 1,000 responses per month. 

A response is counted as a "completion" of a survey – so I have completed a total of 4 surveys in a month, that is counted as 4 surveys. 

We do not count responses to individual questions within a survey as unique responses. An example would be if I filled out a 5 question survey, I am only counted as one response and not 5 responses. 

What is a participant, and what do the limits mean?

A participant is someone that responds to a survey. In our plans if you see "up to 50 participants" that implies that the survey is limited to 50 unique survey participants per survey.

The response limit is applied on a per survey basis, not across an entire month, or series. 

We offer additional participants at a small cost, which you can select during check-out.

I'm on a legacy plan that isn't included here. What will happen to my account?

If you're currently on a plan that is not listed here, we will continue to either support your legacy plan, or move you to the new plans based on which makes the most sense for your business.

Can I purchase a plan on behalf of other people?

Yes - if you'd like to purchase multiple subscriptions for other people on your team, you can either do so during check-out, or under your Account Settings if you already have an existing subscription. 

Do note that we will charge you up-front for the additional licenses and it will be added to your subscription, regardless of whether the seat is provisioned to a user or not. 

Can I request a subscription to be purchased on my behalf?

Yes, you can! 🙌 

During the check-out screen, you can click on the Have someone pay for me tab which will generate a link to the invoice that you can then send to your manager, procurement, or accounting/finance. 

When the invoice is paid, the purchaser will be made the subscription owner so they can manage billing and licensing. You will be the designated license owner and have access to the features and functionality included in the plan. 

Can I pay via invoicing?

We support billing by invoice with net 30 payments, but only for annual agreements for larger custom plans or the Enterprise plan. Please get in touch with us at contact@polly.ai if you prefer invoicing.

How can I pause/cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time, and you will have access to your plan features until the end of the current billing period.

To cancel, we ask that you please reach out to contact@polly.ai or on our live chat to get the process going. We typically have a response time of up to ~6 hours and can get it processed ASAP. To ensure you won't get billed, please reach out at least 48 hours before your next due date.

If you'd like to pause your subscription, please reach out to us and we'll get it taken care of.

Do you offer discounts for non-profits and educational groups?

Yes, we do! We offer 50-75% off for eligible educational institutions and non-profits.

Eligible Educational institutions:

  • Accredited primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions 
  • Student groups from any of the above 

Eligible non-profit institutions must hold a valid charitable status with either the IRS (in the United States), a local tax service/charity commission, or a local TechSoup Global partner.
