🚀Getting Started with Polly

👩‍💻Add Polly to Slack

You can install Polly in your workspace through any of the following options:


✏️ Create a Polly

To create a poll or survey directly in Slack:

  1. Type /polly in any Slack channel.

  2. If posting in a private channel, first invite Polly using:

    /invite @polly

  3. Choose from different question types, including multiple choice.

  4. You can create recurring pollys to run on a schedule.

  5. Use a pre-built template or create your own in the Polly web app.

🕒 Schedule a Polly

Recurring pollys allow you to automatically send polls at a defined frequency.

  • Configure your schedule using recurring pollys.

  • Recurrence timing and frequency are explained in the recurrence FAQs.

  • To edit a recurring polly, run the command:

/polly recurring
 

This will send a link to edit the polly in the web app.
